An flaw was discovered in the F2FS filesystem code in fs/f2fs/super.c in the Linux kernel. A denial of service due to an out-of-bounds memory access can occur upon encountering an abnormal bitmap size when mounting a crafted f2fs image.

Note:

An F2FS filesystem is not shipped with any of the Red Hat products.

This is fixed for Fedora with the 4.18 rebases.
