Hi Michael,

Great work on getting this through but I have just checked and the new version only seems to be available for fc29 (rawhide).

Does the build system take a while to process it though ?

Comment 3 Michael Cronenworth 2018-07-10 13:33:58 UTC
Lee, yes, Bodhi controls updates for stable or branched Fedora releases. The Fedora 28 update is waiting for Bodhi to push it to testing and it must wait for karma or 7 days until I can push it to the general updates repo. You may install the update directly from Koji if you wish to test it now.

Comment 4 Lee Cashmore 2018-07-10 14:35:59 UTC
Hi Michael,

On A slight side note domoticz automatically tries to backup it's database. By default with the fedora build these files attempt to write too

/var/lib/domoticz/backups

The process will fail though because the backups directory does not exist. I think it automatically creates the subdirectories of daily, hourly and monthly but needs the directory backups to exist for that to work.

Comment 5 Michael Cronenworth 2018-07-11 13:38:49 UTC
Fedora's domoticz considers /usr/share/domoticz to be the root directory so it would try to create the backups there. I will fix it in a future update.
