Context ======= I'm a new packager. It has been 7 days since I did the last step in Join_the_package_collection_maintainers[1] document. That is, the package has been waiting in Bodhi but Bodhi now added this comment: > This update has reached 7 days in testing and can be pushed to stable now if the maintainer wishes so I wanted to push the package to stable but I'm not sure if I should do anything. What I've noticed: * What seems to be the most relevant action button reads "Push to Batched". * The Autopush is on. * Status is still `testing`. At this point, the Batched/Stable distinction is unclear to me, and I'm not sure if I should do anything. I read the other linked document, Package_update_HOWTO[2], does not mention "batched" or "autopush" at all, so it does not answer these questions for me. [1]: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Join_the_package_collection_maintainers [2]: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Package_update_HOWTO Proposal ======== Add link or section in the Join_the_package_collection_maintainers document that explains the Bodhi part of the workflow. Alternatively, link the update_states.html[3] somewhere. [3]: https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/docs/user/update_states.html
