Individual Bugzilla bugs that are migrated will be moved to status "CLOSED", resolution "MIGRATED", and set with "MigratedToJIRA" in "Keywords". The link to the successor Jira issue will be found under "Links", have a little "two-footprint" icon next to it, and direct you to the "RHEL project" in Red Hat Jira (issue links are of type "https://issues.redhat.com/browse/RHEL-XXXX", where "X" is a digit). This same link will be available in a blue banner at the top of the page informing you that that bug has been migrated.

Description of problem:
strace-4.12-7.el7 fails to build from source in rhel-7.6 x86_64 due to membarrier.test failure.
The same testcase failure was previously addressed against rhel-alt-7.5 on bug #1540954

The membarrier.test failure is also reproducible on rhel-7.6 in ppc64, ppc64le and s390x, although it doesn't lead to FTBFS since the testsuite is currently not being run on %check for these architectures.

I was too hasty: actually, membarrier.test from strace-4.12-8.el7.src.rpm still fails on rhel-7.6 x86_64 if the system provides -m32 compile and runtime support (libgcc.i686 and glibc*.i686, which are not build requirements but might be installed). The testcase was fixed for 'tests', but not yet for 'tests-m32', causing rpmbuild to fail.

It's fixed in 4.12-9; although, it's of limited use, as build repositories do not provide compat libraries, so these tests couldn't be run during normal package build.
