+1 on the “X” being redundant and potentially confusing. This is part of PatternFly design (http://www.patternfly.org/pattern-library/content-views/list-view/), but I agree it is not needed. @mcarrano - Can we remove the "X"? See screenshot for details. Note: That user can expand and collapse via the the chevron and the parent row (blue row), and the "X" being the 3rd way of doing so and a little awkward since user expanded it via the chevron or parent row or the "Expand All" option at the top.
Yes, I agree that the 'X' can be removed. We recently updated PatternFly to call this out as optional as it does conflict with content in some cases.
