Previously, when an OpenStack service logs at DEBUG level, Oslo Messaging logs the message "Timed out waiting for RPC response" unnecessarily.
With this fix, Oslo Messaging no longer logs this message in instances when the timeout is recoverable.

Oslo Messaging 5.30.4 has been released with the fix. The python-oslo-messaging-5.30.4-1.el7ost package is now ready for QA. Since the problem described in this bug report should be resolved in a recent advisory, it has been closed with a resolution of ERRATA. For information on the advisory, and where to find the updated files, follow the link below.
