This feature is to enable the OVN service listening on IPv6 to communicate with both Neutron and OVS interfaces using TripleO/OSP diretor. Need to ensure support for: 1. IPv4 only addressing 2. IPv6 only addressing 3. Dual stack IPv4/IPv6 addressing Note: this RFE is not about support for Neutron tenant networking with IPv6, but about the actual *deployment of OpenStack and OVN on top of IPv6 infrastructure*.
After the flip in TripleO to ML2/OVN this RFE should be covered by: https://github.com/openstack/tripleo-quickstart/blob/master/config/general_config/featureset035.yml If it passes, I think we can consider this as done.
Test job which base on featureset035 pass, also IPv4 that we see in logs for ovsdb-server came from https://github.com/openvswitch/ovs/blob/master/ovn/utilities/ovndb-servers.ocf#L45 , https://github.com/openvswitch/ovs/blob/master/ovn/utilities/ovndb-servers.ocf#L414 so we can consider that job as done and tested by switching to ovn as a default for tripleo. Only thing that we need for osp14 is backport of puppet-tripleo patch
Hi, I am not sure why this RFE become a bug, since this is a new functionality and we need test it from OVN side. I'd suggest to verify it as planned during OSP16 tests cycle. I'd assume some system tests will be required here and new CI jobs. Please let me know what do you think about this one?
