Description Mohan Boddu 2018-07-19 14:10:41 UTC
Coin2 failed to build from source in Fedora rawhide

https://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=28160706

For details on the mass rebuild see:

https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Fedora_29_Mass_Rebuild
Please fix Coin2 at your earliest convenience and set the bug's status to
ASSIGNED when you start fixing it. If the bug remains in NEW state for 8 weeks,
Coin2 will be orphaned. Before branching of Fedora 30,
Coin2 will be retired, if it still fails to build.

Whoever developped the patch, did failed to do his job correctly.

This package needs a c++ compiler. So, with all due respect, rework your (apparently broken scripts) and stop molesting community members with the brokenness of your works.

I know, this is not the place to complain, but my feel is, Fedora has massive release engineering personell problems.

Comment 5 Zbigniew Jędrzejewski-Szmek 2018-07-23 17:14:37 UTC
A build was successfull: Coin2-2.5.0-35.fc29 [1].
Closing the bug.
