Description Mohan Boddu 2018-07-19 22:49:04 UTC
jss failed to build from source in Fedora rawhide

https://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=28192584

For details on the mass rebuild see:

https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Fedora_29_Mass_Rebuild
Please fix jss at your earliest convenience and set the bug's status to
ASSIGNED when you start fixing it. If the bug remains in NEW state for 8 weeks,
jss will be orphaned. Before branching of Fedora 30,
jss will be retired, if it still fails to build.

Comment 4 Elio Maldonado Batiz 2018-07-20 22:30:21 UTC
This is caused due to https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Changes/Remove_GCC_from_BuildRoot
Adding a "BuildRequires: gcc" line to the spec file should take care of this.

Comment 5 Igor Raits 2018-07-23 11:08:25 UTC
Matches:
make[1]: gcc: Command not found

Suggested fix:
BuildRequires: gcc

Comment 6 Endi Sukma Dewata 2018-07-23 13:09:25 UTC
Thanks for the info. It should be fixed in jss-4.5.0-0.4.fc29.src.rpm.

Comment 7 Zbigniew Jędrzejewski-Szmek 2018-07-23 17:38:51 UTC
