mame failed to build from source in Fedora rawhide

Please fix mame at your earliest convenience and set the bug's status to
ASSIGNED when you start fixing it. If the bug remains in NEW state for 8 weeks,
mame will be orphaned. Before branching of Fedora 30,
mame will be retired, if it still fails to build.

The initial build failure was due to s390x being cancelled, subsequent rebuilds were blocked by annobin. With annobin-8.16 the rebuild has succeeded.
