Description Mohan Boddu 2018-07-20 00:37:04 UTC
mesos failed to build from source in Fedora rawhide

https://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=28200899

For details on the mass rebuild see:

https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Fedora_29_Mass_Rebuild
Please fix mesos at your earliest convenience and set the bug's status to
ASSIGNED when you start fixing it. If the bug remains in NEW state for 8 weeks,
mesos will be orphaned. Before branching of Fedora 30,
mesos will be retired, if it still fails to build.

Comment 4 Jan Kurik 2018-08-14 09:24:00 UTC
This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora 29 development cycle.
Changing version to '29'.

Comment 5 Miro Hrončok 2019-01-05 11:35:56 UTC
Any news here?

Comment 6 Björn Esser (besser82) 2019-01-07 17:48:28 UTC
Are there any short-term plans to fix the package from FTBFS state since Fedora 25?

Comment 7 Simone Caronni 2019-01-09 18:11:11 UTC
This package should be retired. Building it without the proprietary headers is also not useful at all.

Comment 8 Björn Esser (besser82) 2019-01-09 18:18:06 UTC
Then please retire it at least in Rawhide, as you are the official owner of the mesos package.

Comment 9 Miro Hrončok 2019-01-09 19:51:25 UTC
Retire it please.

Comment 10 Björn Esser (besser82) 2019-01-16 12:51:55 UTC
Please retire the package as I do not have time to do any work on it in the near future.

Comment 11 Miro Hrončok 2019-01-17 17:41:08 UTC
The maintianer said "This package should be retired."

I will retire the package if there is no response in a week.

Comment 12 Simone Caronni 2019-01-17 21:22:48 UTC
Package retired, sorry for the delay.

Comment 13 Miro Hrončok 2019-01-17 21:34:34 UTC
Thank You!
