description of this "Known Issue"
Under specific circumstances DS can fail to close a connection that it decided to close. The consequence is new operations will not be processed and the socket will remain established creating a leak of file descriptors. In extreme scenario, leak of file descriptor can exhaust DS connection table and new incoming connection will fail.
The problem can be detected with unexpected increasing number of established connections (lsof -p `pidof ns-slapd` -i TCP)
