Description of problem: Kernel 4.17.6-200.fc28.x86_64 has a regression that prevents the wireless card from loading properly. Steps to Reproduce: 1. boot kernel 2. note that wifi doesn't load 3. note dmesg error: iwlwifi error -12 Actual results: Wifi doesn't load and puts error in dmesg Expected results: Working wifi Additional info: Regression filed against upstream kernel and later fixed. Should note that locally reverting the bad patch and rebuilding kernel does indeed resolve issue 100%.
