Description of problem:
Kernel 4.17.6-200.fc28.x86_64 has a regression that prevents the wireless card from loading properly. Details in this thread: https://lkml.org/lkml/2018/7/5/806

F28 kernel-4.17.6-200.fc28.x86_64

How reproducible:
100% reproducible with Thinkpad P50 with 0000:04:00.0 network controller Intel 8260.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. boot kernel
2. note that wifi doesn't load
3. note dmesg error: iwlwifi error -12

Actual results:
Wifi doesn't load and puts error in dmesg

Expected results:
Working wifi

Additional info:
Regression filed against upstream kernel and later fixed. See:
kernel-4.17.6-200.fc28.x86_64

Should note that locally reverting the bad patch and rebuilding kernel does indeed resolve issue 100%.
