Description R P Herrold 2018-08-14 18:17:28 UTC
Description of problem:

The latest update will only offer to save changed files, and when tehre are none, simply exits. This is a change from prior behavior, where each open file, in turn was offered to be saved, even if not changed

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

joe-4.6-4.el7.x86_64

How reproducible:

1. Open three files
2. Change none
3. type: ^K s
(that is save the current file)
4. The program simply exists, rather than doing a 'useless' save for any of the files

Steps to Reproduce:
as above

Actual results:
as above

Expected results:

for the prior behavior to continue -- there is nothing mentioned in teh Changelog about this

Additional info:

Comment 1 R P Herrold 2018-08-14 19:23:13 UTC
it seems this was intentional

https://sourceforge.net/p/joe-editor/discussion/131147/thread/725420b2/

It may be worthwhile to add a mention in the --changelog

Comment 2 R P Herrold 2018-08-15 19:02:33 UTC
s/exist/exits/ in the initial report
