Description Stephen Herr 2018-08-16 04:12:43 UTC
Flaw bug created to hold information about an old flaw we knew something about. For more details see the MITRE CVE description.

Comment 1 Stephen Herr 2018-08-16 16:18:37 UTC
MITRE description:

The bgp_update_print function in tcpdump 3.x does not properly handle a -1 return value from the decode_prefix4 function, which allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (infinite loop) via a crafted BGP packet.
