Created attachment 1476921 [details] Patch that adds a -b option for binding to a desired interface. Description of problem: On multihomed hosts, broadcasted WOL packets are usually not sent on the correct interface. Instead they are sent on the interface that is connected with the default gateway. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): 0.7.1 How reproducible: always Steps to Reproduce: 1. run wol on a multihomed host attemting to wake another host which is NOT on the same net as the default gateway. 2. 3. Actual results: depends on routing setup Expected results: Ability to specify the correct interface Additional info: Given that the latest release on upstrem (http://sourceforge.net/projects/wake-on-lan/) is from 11 years ago, i'm assuming that the upstream project is dead. Therefore, I provided a patch here.
