Description of problem: Attempting to use firefox-wayland on a Wayland desktop session results in multiple session crashes per day, usually when resuming laptop from sleep. Unfortunately I get no abrt logs and there's no consistent way to reproduce. If I manage to see a better pattern/get some debugging info I'll add it here. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): gnome-shell is at 3.28.3-1.fc28 firefox-waylad at 61.0.2-1.fc28 How reproducible: Frequently but not consistently. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Start using firefox-wayland 2. Suspend laptop 3. (Sometimes) on suspend I have a black screen. Ctrl-Alt-Fn doesn't work, so I have to hard reset the laptop, long-pressing the power switch. Actual results: Hard display lockup Expected results: Without using firefox-wayland, no lockup or session loss issues. Additional info: This is on a ThinkPad X250, so Intel graphics.
Managed to get an abrt log. STR were: - Log in, new session. - Start firefox-wayland - Open a couple of tabs in the main window and a private browsing window, also with one or two tabs - Close main window - Close private window - Gnome shell crashed.
