Description of problem: I recently managed to delete the alternatives entries created by the java-1.8.0-openjdk-headless package. I figured a dnf reinstall java-1.8.0-openjdk-headless would re-run the post script and recreate the alternatives entries. However, this didn't seem to happen. I notice someone else has previously observed the same behaviour: https://ask.fedoraproject.org/en/question/113412/what-exactly-happens-on-dnf-reinstallin-terms-of-scriptlets/ I am not sure if this is a bug or a documentation issue. But right now, dnf doesn't meet (at least mine and one other person's) expectations.
