Downloaded 2.0.3, which has fix, but should be compatible with 2.0.0. Builds with 2.0.0 pom (with version changed to 2.0.3). However, fails to build with 2.0.3 pom downloaded from official repo. I'm too much of a newbie with maven to know whether it is a good idea to just ship the 2.0.0 pom with version change.

This is still a valib ug for Fedora 33 and later, bumping release. I've just fixed this in rawhide, I'm waiting for some testing feedback on the rawhide package and then I'll push the fix out as an update for F33+.
