Prepare data center, cluster, host, storage domain for RHV 2. Create an vm and install it with fedora 28 3. Install qemu-guest-agent-2.11.2-2.fc28.x86_64 in fedora 28 VM and start ovirt-guest-agent service 4. Try to create snapshot on RHV web page, you will see the warning: Could not detect Guest Agent on the VM. Note that without a Guest Agent the data on the created snapshot may be inconsistent. Actual results: As above Expected results: No warning Additional info: RHV can gather VM's info via ovirt-guest-agent because I find VM's ip addr is shown on RHV. tested on master in Fedora 29 just now, seems to work ok qemu-guest-agent-3.0.0-0.2.rc3.fc29.x86_64 ovirt-guest-agent-common-1.0.14-1.fc29.3.noarch What's the output of "vdsm-client VM getStats vmID=<id>" on the host where the VM is running?
