Description of problem: There is no alert raised when gluster volume is deleted in cluster managed by WA. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): tendrl-ansible-1.6.3-7.el7rhgs.noarch tendrl-api-1.6.3-5.el7rhgs.noarch tendrl-api-httpd-1.6.3-5.el7rhgs.noarch tendrl-commons-1.6.3-12.el7rhgs.noarch tendrl-grafana-plugins-1.6.3-11.el7rhgs.noarch tendrl-grafana-selinux-1.5.4-2.el7rhgs.noarch tendrl-monitoring-integration-1.6.3-11.el7rhgs.noarch tendrl-node-agent-1.6.3-10.el7rhgs.noarch tendrl-notifier-1.6.3-4.el7rhgs.noarch tendrl-selinux-1.5.4-2.el7rhgs.noarch tendrl-ui-1.6.3-11.el7rhgs.noarch How reproducible: 100% Steps to Reproduce: 1. Import cluster with at least one volume into WA. 2. Stop and delete the volume: $ gluster volume stop <volume> $ gluster volume delete <volume> 3. Open UI, check mails and snmp for alerts. Actual results: There is no alert raised that would inform user that the volume was deleted. Expected results: There should be raised alert informing user that the volume was deleted from cluster. Additional info:
is it an alert or event required, volume deletion is not an alert I feel.
There is no alert and no event. I think that user should be notified that volume was deleted so the alert should be sent.
There is not alert/event raised while volume deletion at the moment. I propose this to be an RFE.
