Fixed by: https://github.com/ManageIQ/manageiq-providers-ovirt/pull/282
When trying to provision a VM with preallocated disk, the provisioning request fails on: [EVM] VM [test_sd] Step [CheckProvisioned] Status [Error Creating VM] Message [[OvirtSDK4::Error]: Fault reason is "Operation Failed". Fault detail is "[Cannot add VM. Disk configuration (COW Preallocated) is incompatible with the storage domain type.]... The location of the disk does not make any difference. When provisioning with Thin Provisioning option, the request succeeds. CFME: Version 5.10.0.15.20180914163601_fb02d7e RHV: Version: 4.2.6.3-0.1.el7ev
The error mentioned in comment #4 is expected, in case the Template used for Provision is Thin provisioning/Qcow. Moving bug to verified, on CFME-5.10.0.17/RHV-4.2. Tested flows are attached ("Storage_check_5.10.0.17.png")
