I have had the same problem. I am on a Lenovo ThinkPad T500 with an Intel 5350 AGN built in wifi adapter, running Fedora 28. The wireless does not work for me at all on the Fedora 4.18 kernel, but works when I boot into 4.17.19. F29 is now here. I downloaded Fedora-Workstation-Live-x86_64-29-1.2.iso (kernel 4.8.16-300.fc29.x86_64) and it has the same problem.

This continues to be an issue through all of the 4.18.y, 4.19.y and 4.20.y kernels as well as kernel-5.0.0-0.rc6.git1.1.fc30.x86_64. Can you provide advice on how to take this issue upstream? Is the Intel Corporation PRO/Wireless 5350 AGN device essentially unsupported?

Do you have a link to the thread or the patchwork where this patch was submitted by the maintainer? We generally prefer to pick up what the maintainer will submit with full commit message etc.
Emmanuel Grumbach sent me the patch via <linuxwifi> so I don't have a link to patchwork. He did indicate that he was going to submit it upstream. I have requested this information from him and will report back here. Thank you.
