Description Miro Hrončok 2018-09-10 14:06:02 UTC
In line with the Mass Python 2 Package Removal [0], all (sub)packages of datanommer were marked for removal:

 * datanommer

According to our query, those packages only provide a Python 2 importable module. If this is not true, please tell us why, so we can fix our query.

Please retire your package in Rawhide (Fedora 30).

If there is no objection in a week, we will retire the package for you.

We hope this doesn't come to you as a surprise. If you want to know our motivation for this, please read the change document [0].

We should save this one. :)

Comment 2 Miro Hrončok 2018-09-10 16:52:35 UTC
I guess we should. How should the automation realize this is a tool/app? It seems to provide nothing else than /usr/lib/python2.7/site-packages/datanommer-0.2.0-py2.7.egg-info

Comment 3 Miro Hrončok 2018-09-17 08:58:00 UTC
How should the automation realize this is a tool/app?

There seems to be nothing useful in this package.

Comment 4 Ralph Bean 2018-09-17 17:13:33 UTC
Oh, I see. It's all in the python-datanommer-consumer and related packages. This can indeed be retired.

Comment 5 Ralph Bean 2018-09-17 17:16:57 UTC
Rather, this datanommer package is more like a meta-package, pulling those others in.

I'll update it to py3.

Comment 7 Miro Hrončok 2018-09-17 22:22:22 UTC
Thank You.

BTW you can use %py3_build and %py3_install.
