In line with the Mass Python 2 Package Removal [0], the following (sub)packages of python-qpid were marked for removal: * qpid-tests According to our query, those packages only provide a Python 2 importable module. If this is not true, please tell us why, so we can fix our query. Please remove them from your package. As said in the change document, if there is no objection in a week, we will remove the package(s) as soon as we get to it. This change might not match your packaging style, so we'd prefer if you did the change. If you need more time, please let us know here. We hope this doesn't come to you as a surprise. If you want to know our motivation for this, please read the change document [0]. [0] https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Changes/Mass_Python_2_Package_Removal
This only builds python2-qpid and qpid-tests. Should the package be retired fully?
$ dnf repoquery --repo=rawhide --whatrequires python2-qpid koji-hub-plugins-0:1.16.1-2.fc30.noarch odcs-0:0.2.7-2.fc29.noarch pulp-server-0:2.15.2-2.fc29.noarch python2-qpid-messaging-0:1.38.0-5.fc29.x86_64 qpid-tests-0:1.37.0-5.fc29.noarch qpid-tools-0:1.38.0-5.fc29.noarch I guess not. qpid-tests was picked by the automation because nothing depends on it.
Then it doesn't make sense to retire tests before the package it tests.
