STR: 1) Install Thunderbird 60.0 from the repository. 2) Start TB 60. 3) The homepage is "Welcome to Daily". The homepage is in preferences is set to https://live.thunderbird.net/thunderbird/start?locale=cs&version=60.0&channel=default&os=Linux&buildid=20180829122858, which seems OK on the first sight, but it leads to "Welcome to Daily". That's cause by invalid "channel" query string parameter. Instead of "default" it should be "release". Also "app.update.channel" preferences is "default" instead of "release".

This message is a reminder that Fedora 28 is nearing its end of life. On 2019-May-28 Fedora will stop maintaining and issuing updates for Fedora 28. It is Fedora's policy to close all bug reports from releases that are no longer maintained. At that time this bug will be closed as EOL if it remains open with a Fedora 'version' of '28'. This issue is still present in Fedora 30. I think I have no rights to update the version field of this bug report, so it still states 28.
