Description Martin Bukatovic 2018-09-11 15:54:23 UTC
Description of problem
======================

There should be Subvolume panel on Volume dashboard, which includes the
following details:

 * number of the subvolumes
 * health of the subvolumes

Description should include:

 * description of what a subvolume is
 * list of health states of a subvolume
 * how is this status related to type of a volume
   (eg. is it applicable to EC volume ?)

Implementation details (how to get this info) and list of subvolume health
states should be discussed with gluster dev team.

This BZ was created based on a resolution for BZ 1614263, which was concerned
with description of Subvolume panel. But it turned out that the panel is not
complete (number of subvolumes was shown only) and it was decided that it
should be removed until we implement it as originally intended.

Version-Release number of selected component
============================================

tendrl-monitoring-integration-1.6.3-7.el7rhgs.noarch

Steps to Reproduce
==================

1. Instal RHGS WA using tendrl-ansible
2. Import Trusted storage pool with at least one volume
3. Go to Volume dashboard and check Subvolume panel there, including
   it's description.

Actual results
==============

The panel is incomplete or missing (see BZ 1614263 for details).

Expected results
================

There is Subvolume panel on Volume dashboard, with:

 * number of the subvolumes
 * health of the subvolumes

For more details, see details in the description of this BZ.
