Description John Strunk 2018-09-12 20:28:48 UTC
Description of problem:
The documentation for installation covers installing on different distros (Debian, Ubuntu, etc.), but the upgrade documentation does not describe steps required to upgrade the installed packages.
For example:
Does a new apt repo need to be added?
Do the old packages need to be (or should be) removed?

Please extend the upgrade guide with instructions for the individual distros just like is done in the install guide.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
upgrade to 4.1

Comment 1 Shyamsundar 2018-09-13 13:12:43 UTC
Added github issue for the same in the glusterdocs repository: https://github.com/gluster/glusterdocs/issues/420

Closing this bug as doc issues are tracked in the github repository.

The above may not be very obvious, but is covered in the page: https://www.gluster.org/community/ against the link to "Report a problem in Documentation".
