Description Paul Gier 2018-09-18 15:18:59 UTC
Describe the issue: The legacy prometheus installation is being removed from the openshift ansible installer as of 3.11. The user should uninstall this prometheus config either by running the openshift-ansible script using "openshift_hosted_prometheus_deploy=false" in the inventory, or by just deleting the openshift-metrics project/namespace if there are no other deployments/objects in the same namespace.

The documentation should point users to the newer monitoring stack (openshift-monitoring) which is also based on prometheus.
