Latest upstream release: 8.38.0 Current version/release in rawhide: 8.37.0-3.fc29 URL: http://www.rsyslog.com Please consult the package updates policy before you issue an update to a stable branch: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Updates_Policy More information about the service that created this bug can be found at: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Upstream_release_monitoring Please keep in mind that with any upstream change, there may also be packaging changes that need to be made. Specifically, please remember that it is your responsibility to review the new version to ensure that the licensing is still correct and that no non-free or legally problematic items have been added upstream. Based on the the fact that anitya is currently broken, can we go ahead and rebase without waiting for anitya to be fixed?
any update on this? Do I need to add to this bz the following since anitya is still down?: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Upstream_release_monitoring#The-New-Hotness "It will then clone the git repository, bump the version and reset the release, download the new sources (if it can) and attempt a scratch build in koji. The result of the scratch build is then added to the open bugzilla ticket. Subsequent successful koji builds are added to the ticket as well."
