Note: This bug is displayed in read-only format because
the product is no longer active in Red Hat Bugzilla.
Red Hat Satellite engineering is moving the tracking of its product development work on Satellite to Red Hat Jira (issues.redhat.com). If you're a Red Hat customer, please continue to file support cases via the Red Hat customer portal. If you're not, please head to the "Satellite project" in Red Hat Jira and file new tickets here. Individual Bugzilla bugs will be migrated starting at the end of May. If you cannot log in to RH Jira, please consult article #7032570. That failing, please send an e-mail to the RH Jira admins at rh-issues@redhat.com to troubleshoot your issue as a user management inquiry. The email creates a ServiceNow ticket with Red Hat. Individual Bugzilla bugs that are migrated will be moved to status "CLOSED", resolution "MIGRATED", and set with "MigratedToJIRA" in "Keywords". The link to the successor Jira issue will be found under "Links", have a little "two-footprint" icon next to it, and direct you to the "Satellite project" in Red Hat Jira (issue links are of type "https://issues.redhat.com/browse/SAT-XXXX", where "X" is a digit). This same link will be available in a blue banner at the top of the page informing you that that bug has been migrated.
Description of problem:
When we navigate to Hosts -> Content Hosts -> Select few content hosts -> Select Action -> "Manage Repository Sets", this page list all available repositories based on the imported manifest which we see on Red Hat Repositories page. Ideally, it should list only enabled repositories on the satellite.
When we search for the required repository name then search does not work properly, ie: the search is limited to the first 20 entries listed on the page.
In Satellite 6.3 it lists only enabled and synced repositories on this page.
Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
Satellite 6.4
How reproducible:
Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Navigate to Hosts -> Content Hosts -> Select few content hosts -> Select Action -> "Manage Repository Sets".
2. Here we see all available repositories
3. In the search box try to search for "tools" or any other repository name.
4. Search is limited to first 20 entries listed on the page.
Actual results:
- "Repository Sets Management" page lists all available repos instead of listing only enabled repositories on the satellite.
- The search option is limited to entries listed on the first page.
Expected results:
- "Repository Sets Management" page should list only enabled repositories on the satellite.
- The search should consider entries on all pages and it should not be limited to the content listed on the first page.
Verified with sat6.4 snap24.
With the fix I can see only enabled repos under "Hosts -> Content Hosts -> Select few content hosts -> Select Action -> "Manage Repository Sets". Earlier, I was able to see all available repositories based on imported manifest.
Also, I can filter the repos based on selected search criteria.
