Description Andreas Wacknitz 2000-08-16 13:54:41 UTC
running sensors gives the following error message:
"can't access /proc file"
GNOME applet glms_applet reports 0RPM and -279C.

Comment 1 Nalin Dahyabhai 2000-08-16 14:16:39 UTC
Have you loaded the sensors modules (i.e., using sensors_detect)? In certain
conditions, loading the sensors modules can interact badly with certain
hardware, so the necessary kernel modules are not automatically configured and
loaded.

Comment 2 Nalin Dahyabhai 2000-08-16 14:17:01 UTC
Oops, that's sensors-detect, not sensors_detect.
