Description of problem: When logging into a new Gnome session (Wayland). Note: I am using some locally built packages which contain backported upstream bug fixes. This is not the case for Gnome Shell itself. In the sessions before (and after) the crash, I noticed some (probably unrelated) weird behaviour: the pointer scaling was wrong (1x) when located over the Gnome Shell interface, but correct (2x) when located over a window. This message is a reminder that Fedora 28 is nearing its end of life. On 2019-May-28 Fedora will stop maintaining and issuing updates for Fedora 28. It is Fedora's policy to close all bug reports from releases that are no longer maintained. At that time this bug will be closed as EOL if it remains open with a Fedora 'version' of '28'.
