Latest upstream release: 1.8.0 Current version/release in rawhide: 1.7.3-9.fc29 URL: https://nlnetlabs.nl/projects/unbound/download/ Please consult the package updates policy before you issue an update to a stable branch: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Updates_Policy More information about the service that created this bug can be found at: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Upstream_release_monitoring Please keep in mind that with any upstream change, there may also be packaging changes that need to be made. Specifically, please remember that it is your responsibility to review the new version to ensure that the licensing is still correct and that no non-free or legally problematic items have been added upstream. Based on the information from anitya: https://release-monitoring.org/project/5042/
Had to change monitoring URL. Upstream moved back into nlnetlabs.nl domain. New version is already pushed into rawhide, but not yet built. Copr repository [1] with test builds of new version and dependencies is prepared. asterisk and libreswan packages fail to build on rawhide, because they use deprecated /usr/bin/python interpreter. Other than that, everything builds fine. 1. https://copr.fedorainfracloud.org/coprs/pemensik/unbound/packages/
note I guess we should skip this one as 1.8.1 is already imminent now
unbound 1.8.0 and 1.8.1 are binary compatible, there is no change of soversion. I would agree otherwise. Anyway, I updated to 1.8.1 already.
