Description Joel Stienlet 2018-10-03 12:29:00 UTC
Created attachment 1490014 [details]
journalctl -r /usr/bin/gnome-software -b

Description of problem:
gnome-software is using large amounts of CPU (2 threads at 100%) four hours.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
/usr/bin/gnome-software --version
gnome-software 3.30.0

In attachment: log of gnome-software ( journalctl -r /usr/bin/gnome-software -b )

I suspect the application to be stuck in an infinite loop.

Comment 1 Kalev Lember 2018-10-23 09:28:22 UTC
I believe this should be fixed in 3.30.2.

Comment 2 Joel Stienlet 2018-10-23 09:39:11 UTC
I can confirm that I've not seen this bug again since upgrade to 3.30.2.
