We're getting several reports that 16GB ram is no longer sufficient for a minimum undercloud install. Some examples are: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1629062 https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1634005 https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1632461 https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1634704 The default configurations of services should be checked since we switched to a whole new undercloud installation method in 14. It would also be good to compare osp13 to osp14 doing the same sorts of deployments and stack updates. If possible, we could also try installing an osp14 undercloud with instack-undercloud to compare resource usage. If it turns out we need to increase minimum requirements for the undercloud, it will require a documentation update.

Hi James, It looks like we bumped up the memory requirements for OSP14 to 24GB: https://access.redhat.com/documentation/en-us/red_hat_openstack_platform/14/html/director_installation_and_usage/planning-your-undercloud#determining-environment-scale Was this enough?
Checked with Emilien. It should be enough. Feel free to reopen if it isn't.
