Description of problem:When trying to connect to remote windows servers after being prompted for credentials, the session opens up but only get a black screen. It works when using Remmina app. but not with included Remote Desktop viewer. It worked before. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): How reproducible: Steps to Reproduce: 1.Open Remote Desktop viewer 2.type server address or name 3.enter credentials when prompted. Actual results:Able to log in (remote session) but to a black desktop screen Expected results:Remote session to a normal working desktop. Additional info: Using Dual Screen setup, worked in the past. Different client works
The "Remote Desktop" viewer I assume is Vinagre. This component (gnome-remote-desktop) is a remote desktop server, not client. Moving to vinagre.

I can confirm the bug, IIRC it happens in vinagre since freerdp has been updated to version 2.0.0 rc3 (I was on fedora 28 then, now on fedora 29 still happens). Using a simple profile.rdp file and connecting via $ xfreerdp profile.rdp works properly, so the problem appears to be in vinagre itself. Best, Federico Chiacchiaretta
