This bug is to propose a F29 freeze exception to upgrade to plymouth 0.9.3-14.fc29 From bodhi: """ Add patches from upstream to fix the disk unlock screen sometimes having a very low resolution on UEFI machines: https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/plymouth/plymouth/issues/68 """ Basically the bug is: plymouth looks awful. Can be fixed post-release, but it's nice polish to get it right for the final image.
plymouth-0.9.3-14.fc29 has been submitted as an update to Fedora 29. https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2018-7c87fdc42d
Proposed as a Freeze Exception for 29-final by Fedora user catanzaro using the blocker tracking app because: F29's plymouth currently contains a regression that makes booting look bad on certain machines. This update fixes it.
