The current release removes OpenStack Neutron deployment, including the automatic deployment of the neutron agents through the Network Provider tab in the New Host window and the AgentConfiguration in the REST-API. Use the following components instead: - To deploy OpenStack hosts, use the OpenStack Platform Director/TripleO. - The Open vSwitch interface mappings are already managed automatically by VDSM in Clusters with switch type OVS. - To manage the deployment of ovirt-provider-ovn-driver on a cluster, update the cluster's "Default Network Provider" attribute.

The deployment of OpenStack hosts can be done by OpenStack Platform Director/TripleO, the Open vSwitch interface mappings are managed by VDSM, and the deployment of ovirt-provider-ovn-driver is managed as the attribute "Default Network Provider" on cluster level.

Reopening for 4.4 being this deferred from 4.3.
Changes on engine side are requried in order to allow removal on ovirt-host-deploy side ( bug #1713603 )

Just a note:
In 4.0 this feature was TechPreview: "The following steps are provided only as a Technology Preview. Red Hat Virtualization only supports preconfigured Neutron hosts."

This bugzilla is included in oVirt 4.4.0 release, published on May 20th 2020.

Since the problem described in this bug report should be
resolved in oVirt 4.4.0 release, it has been closed with a resolution of CURRENT RELEASE.
