We should update the supported configuration document to state that MONs can run in a VM when:
a) there is a maximum of one MON in a VM per physical host (ie anti-affinity rules are applied), except during the course of an upgrade to the hypervisor host itself.
b) the same resource minimums must be met for virtual as for baremetal.
QE already test MONs in VMs AFAIK so this is purely a documentation change.
This was approved and +1'd by the following:
Support: Michael Hackett
Product Management: Neil Levine
Engineering: Brett Niver
I will make changes to documentation and support configuration articles reflecting the following:
Red Hat will support Ceph Monitors in VM's as long as the following criteria is met:
a) there is a maximum of one MON in a VM per physical host (ie anti-affinity rules are applied), except during the course of an upgrade to the hypervisor host itself.
b) the same resource minimums must be met for virtual as for baremetal.

Updating the QA Contact to a Hemant. Hemant will be rerouting them to the appropriate QE Associate.
