The Block Storage service's Nimble backend driver did not support the forced detach functionality using empty connector information. The Nimble driver would fail when a forced detach was issued. The Nimble driver has been updated to support a forced detach with empty connector information. The driver properly supports the Block Storage service's forced detach API.

The upstream patch on stable/queens just barely missed the 12.0.4 release, hence the downstream backport. Set OtherQA, no access to such storage to verify. Since the problem described in this bug report should be resolved in a recent advisory, it has been closed with a resolution of ERRATA.
