The fedmsg-notify package has been orphaned and is not developed upstream anymore. It's due for retirement, but right now upgrades from F28 to F29 are broken because fedmsg-notify has missing dependencies in F29. Can fedmsg-notify-0.5.8-5.fc29 be Obsoleted?
It appears to me that fedmsg-notify is installable in F29, so I don't see why F28->F29 updates would be broken. It does appear to be gone in F30, but the f29 package still installs without broken dependencies. So I guess I just don't know what the dependency issues might be. The general python2 removal process should take care of adding proper obsoletes when py2 dependencies go away, so when some of the many python2 things in the dep tree of fedmsg-notify do drop out, I would expect that it would be obsoleted automatically.
