Description of problem: After selecting between 2-10 bookmarks Firefox crashes and the crash does not seem to depend on the visit on any particular site. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): firefox-1.1-0.2.4.deerpark.alpha2 How reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Visit a number of sites and see Firefox crash Additional info: I just upgraded to gtk2-2.7.4, pango-1.9.1 and cairo-0.6.0 from Rawhide and after the upgrade I also experince (better reproducible) crashes with the mozilla.org nightlies. See bug 300491 (https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=300491#c10) at bugzilla.mozilla.org.
I can confirm the same behavior...can't even get to 10 bookmarks, just 1 or 2.
By the way, this is 1.0.6
Have you rebooted since your upgrade of system libraries?
(In reply to comment #3) > Have you rebooted since your upgrade of system libraries? I tried it but it didn't change anything. By the way the current nightlies do not exhibit this behaviour and run smoothly...as long as I don't trigger a gtk dialog (as mentioned above).
Is this a Firefox problem? I have other gtk2/pango applications that I build that are all messed up after today's update.
todays rawhide made firefox crashing a lot for me too.
