Created attachment 1503208 [details] Upstream commit 11dde55cbaf5179e8e1885 cf1483e538a8d5a4a9 for bug #99183 I was testing video call with Pidgin/SIPE on my new Thinkpad P52 with Fedora 29. Setting up the gstreamer1 pipeline failed, because of a bug in farstream already reported upstream. After applying the upstream fix for the bug to my local farstream02 RPM the pipeline setup started to work for me. Upstream fix: https://gitlab.collabora.com/farstream/farstream/commit/11dde55cbaf5179e8e1885cf1483e538a8d5a4a9 Although I report this for F29 I'm sure this fix can be applied to farstream02 on F27+

Brian: there has been no progress on this for 6 months. If you do no longer have time to maintain this package/Fedora (as you indicated in bug #1537235), would it be OK to make kdudka and me owners of this package. Thanks.
Brian: PING?
Following the "non-responsive maintainer policy" I have created FESCO issue #2155 (https://pagure.io/fesco/issue/2155) to trigger the handover of the package maintenance.

FYI Brian, a new version which fast-forwards from 0.2.8 to farstream git HEAD has been pushed to updates-testing. As your installation seems to be especially sensitive to changes, please make sure to test and to leave +/- karma @ bodhi.
