Created attachment 1504122 [details] .pov and .ini files used to reproduce the problem Description of problem: POVRay crashes trying to draw an image greater than screen dimensions when "Display" option is set to "on", but it works fine on smaller images or when "Dispaly" option is set to "off". Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): Ray Tracer Version 3.7.0.7.unofficial (g++ 8 @ x86_64-redhat-linux-gnu) How reproducible: Always using the test files attached try: povray povray_crash.ini (ko) povray povray_ok.ini (ok) Steps to Reproduce: 1.set povray environment (eg: HOME/.povray/3.7/...) 2.start rendering a large image (example image in attachment) 3. Actual results: ==== [Rendering...] ======================================================== /usr/include/c++/8/bits/stl_vector.h:932: std::vector<_Tp, _Alloc>::reference std::vector<_Tp, _Alloc>::oper) [with _Tp = unsigned char; _Alloc = std::allocator<unsigned char>; std::vector<_Tp, _Alloc>::reference = uize_type = long unsigned int]: Assertion '__builtin_expect(__n < this->size(), true)' failed. Expected results: Rendering Additional info: Same result using Plasma, Cinammom or Gnome-Wayland In povray 3.6 it worked showing only a part of the rendered image
