Description Bill Nottingham 2005-08-05 18:03:14 UTC
Description of problem:

If, when listening to a track, you drag the slider back to the beginning, it
changes the timer, but doesn't change the position in the track.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

$ rpm -q gstreamer gstreamer-plugins rhythmbox
gstreamer-0.8.10-1
gstreamer-plugins-0.8.10-0.gst.1.4
rhythmbox-0.8.8-3

How reproducible:

Every time

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Listen to a minute or two of a track
2. Drag the slider to the beginning

Actual results:

Note it stop playing for a moment, then pick up where it left off

Expected results:

Goes back to the beginning.

Additional info:

Pausing before moving the slider causes the right behavior to happen.

This appears to only happen when dragging to the beginning of the slider;
dragging to midpoints of the slider causes something reasonable to happen.

Dragging to the very end of the slider seems to confuse it utterly; it stops
playing entirely sometimes.

Did this just start happening in rawhide?

I honestly don't recall (and don't have a FC4 box in front of me to try ATM.)

Could you please check whether the same thing occurs with Rhythmbox 0.9.6 that
was uploaded to the FC6 updates recently?
Or with 0.9.7 in devel?

Comment 4 Bill Nottingham 2007-01-30 16:33:07 UTC
Yeah, this works now.
