Replacing a Node" of the Operations Guide is not mentioning the necessary steps how to add the replacement node to OpenShift before adding it to the Gluster cluster in case it's a converged deployment. Suggestion: After step 1 (Locate the node...), add the statement below: For a converged deployment, scale up the OCP cluster to add the replcament node. For more information see, https://access.redhat.com/documentation/en-us/openshift_container_platform/3.11/html-single/configuring_clusters/#adding-cluster-hosts_adding-hosts-to-cluster Note: If the replacment node is already part of OCP cluster then skip this step and proceed with Step 3. Reproducible: Always
The customer needs an answer to this questions The customer wants an answer these questions 1- How the ansible hosts file should look like? (Inventory file) 2- Which playbook to run to scale the gluster node? 3- Any pre or post scale playbooks or steps? Perhaps these can help you to clarify what it´s necessary to add. Regards

Hello chandrakanth, Has this fix been ported to 3.10 docs ? If yes, can you please provide the link for the same ? Thanks kasturi
Changes looks good to me in 3.11 guides. Waiting to be verified in 3.10 guides, keeping it ON_QA until then.

Hello patric, AFAIU, Even if the node is part of OCP cluster, i still see that we need to add the node via heketi-cli to make it part of OCS cluster . May be the note should be something like scale up the OCP cluster to add the replacement node. For more detail how to add a node, refer to the steps in section "1.1.2.1. Adding a Node to OCP Cluster" Note: If the replacement node is already part of OCP cluster then skip this step and proceed with Step 2. Please confirm. Thanks kasturi
Moving the bug to assigned state based on comment 14.

I confirm.
Hello chandrakanth, I do not see the changes present in the links provided at Comment 17 for some reason even after logging in. It would be good if pdf's are attached so that we can verify the same there. Thanks kasturi
