Description Hans de Goede 2005-08-26 04:04:15 EDT
running rpmlint on any specfile on my system gives the following output:
Error while reading /home/hans/xscorch.spec

I also tried with SDL.spec, lm_sensors.spec. This is a fully up2date rawhide on
x86_64 with selinux enabled wiht the targeted(default) policy.
Comment 1 Paul Howarth 2005-08-26 05:34:56 EDT
Is rpmlint supposed to work directly with specs?

I have no problem running rpmlint on SRPMS and RPMS...
Comment 2 Hans de Goede 2005-08-26 05:46:38 EDT

You're right although an other errormessage would have been helpfull.

Comment 3 Ville Skyttä 2005-08-26 12:18:31 EDT
I'll improve the error message in the next rpmlint build.
