Description khartsoe@redhat.com 2019-01-22 21:26:32 UTC
Description of problem:
Customer feedback from Net Promoter Score (NPS) survey identified inconsistent and incomplete data striping documentation.

https://access.redhat.com/documentation/en-us/red_hat_ceph_storage/3/html-single/architecture_guide/#concept-arch-data-strip-arch

Expected results:
-document/use consistent parameter syntax name to be specified for Object Size, Stripe Width, and Stripe Count (with examples that reflect common usage) for each client (RGW, RBD, and CephFS).

-document complete information/descriptions regarding available values to be specified for Object Size, Stripe Width, and Stripe Count (with examples that reflect common usage) for each client (RGW, RBD, and CephFS).

-document the name and location of the file where Object Size, Stripe Width, and Stripe Count must be specified (to control striping) within context for each client (RGW, RBD, and CephFS).
