Description of problem: 'dnf list --showduplicates' lists installed packages in "available" section Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): dnf-4.0.9.2-1.el8 How reproducible: always Steps to Reproduce: 1. have different package versions in enabled repos 2. install the oldest version 3. run 'dnf list --available --showduplicates <pkg-name>' Actual results: installed version is in the "available" section # dnf list --available --showduplicates TestA Last metadata expiration check: 0:07:42 ago on Fri Feb 1 13:00:44 2019. Available Packages TestA.noarch 1-1 @base TestA.noarch 1-1 base TestA.noarch 2-1 ext TestA.noarch 3-1 ext2 compare also to # dnf list --installed TestA Installed Packages TestA.noarch 1-1 @base # dnf -y remove TestA <snip> # dnf list --showduplicates TestA Last metadata expiration check: 0:27:06 ago on Fri Feb 1 13:00:44 2019. I create a patch that prevent adding installed packages into list of availables (https://github.com/rpm-software-management/dnf/pull/1349). Please do you have a test for the issue?
